When to test
Where VOC testing and TVOC monitoring add value
Post-refurbishment clearance, complaint investigation, WELL/BREEAM submission and pre-lease due diligence are the four scenarios where speciated data is the only defensible answer. Continuous TVOC monitoring then watches for new spikes — a fresh cleaning regime, a new piece of equipment, a printer or 3D-printer left running — and alerts facilities before occupants complain.
